On Monday 25th July 2016 the Construction Contracts Act came into effect. This should be of interest to most of our members as it is a means of getting paid on time and if not it goes to an adjudication stage. I suggest you look at the two links indicated below and get familiar with the procedure. On Thursday 1st September 2016 we will have a speaker at our Electrical Trade Show who will elaborate further on this topic and this should be an very informative Seminar.
We are also looking at a simple contract that Electrical Contractors can use for small and domestic work in an attempt to avoid any misunderstandings with the client at the end of a project.
